Conroe Independent School District

Wedgewood Forest is served by schools in the acclaimed Conroe Independent School District, one of the fastest growing school districts in the state.

Conroe ISD teachers provide strong academic instruction preparing students for higher education and career success. Their hard work is evidenced by students’ scores on state-mandated tests and that one-third of the district’s high school students take advanced and dual credit courses. Achievement scores on the SAT and ACT are well above state and national averages, and the graduation rate is one of the highest in Texas.

In addition, the district has won a number of accolades for its fine and performing arts programs including being named one of the National Association of Music Merchants (NAMM) Foundation Best Communities for Music Education (BCME) four years in a row.
